    The Ayden-Grifton/Farmville Central 3rd round game has been delayed until Saturday at 7 PM ....

    The 1A East Semi-finals cannot begin until some time next week.

    Your exactly right that a group of fans have sold their tickets, they are die hard supporters of their team. I think that you will realize that our strength isn't in numbers, but in the people there. At Central there were at least 5 times as many cantral fans, but the MP fans were a good 20 times louder. Good luck to the boys, you know we will be there.

    What dedication 10th men! For selling those concert tickets you deserve a special treat. Word has it there'll be a few homemade goodies in the stands just for our dedicated fans. Bring those pots and pans and all of your support. You are truly part of the team.

    Myers Park advances to the state championship series. Rob Wilson went 6, giving up 1 run and striking out 9. Robert Woodard closed, striking out 2 in the 7th. JJ Rollins had 2 hits. Congrats to Myers Park players, Coach D, Coach B, parents and fans.

    Congratulations to North Forsyth, too. They had a great season and they have a great team. The reacted with poise and maturity tonight.

    Great fans for both teams. Lots of folks made the trip from Winston-Salem, and the Green Rowdies were up to their bangin and screamin once again. It was great fun.

    As a Myers Park fan/parent and a North Forsyth alumnus (class of '76) I couldn't lose tonight. But you know, they were all winners out there anyway...
