    I'd have to add Cassie Palmer from Weddington and Kristi Killough
    from J.M. Robinson to the list. Both were from the SPC 3A.

    Kristi was a senior pitcher that lead them to the second round of the states. She helped bring a conference title and tournament title to JMR. She was also player of the year for the conference. Although she was unable to play last year (junior) due to a torn ACL, UNCC signed her to play softball.

    Cassie is a rising senior and has been a three year starter at SS. This year she batted near .500 and had an on base % near .600. She has been an all-conference and all-county selection all three years. She made only one error this year in 60+ touches. Her presences at the plate is awesome as she stuck out only twice in 16 games and has a slugging % near .500.

    Folks, the nomination process is long closed. We are just clearing up a few kids we don't have info for.

    We have well over 120 kids already.

    Here is what I got stat-wise:

    P Hannah Angel - Forbush
    16-0 with 0.00 ERA

    P/1B Amber Shore - soph - Starmount
    .402 avg. - 20 Runs - 3 HRs - 23 RBIs
    7-4 record with 3.00 ERA - 97 Ks

    P/1B Yancy Moose - soph - Starmount
    .380 avg - 20 Runs - 3 HRs - 21 RBIs
    10-1 record with 0.65 ERA - 112 Ks

    The only player we don't have info on is Ashton Barton from Rosman and we are working on that now.

    Nope, we had hoped early this week but I had to have surgery and some schools did not send in needed stuff, so both of those slowed it down. I'm still recovering, so I'm only working as much as I feel comfortable with.

    I expect all state sometime around this weekend and miss softball mid-late next week.
