    can yall talk about Surry CC please. just any info. would be good. commitments for next season, program, coaches, current players, etc. THANKS

    Brad Matthews is a current player there. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 500th round . Of course i think his dad is a local scout for them.

    thanks, ive been there a lot but i was just wonderin if anyone was close with the program and wanted to talk about it some. i am very interested in hearin peoples thoughts.

    I am from the area, but I have not been to any of their games. They have a great ball team year after year.

    Yes Surry does have an outstanding program with a good coach and tremendous players but they will run their mouths and they have little class. Coach Tucker doesn't try to stop it what so ever. I play in the same region with Surry and I know first hand how they are.

    Holla,
    What are you talking about ? My son plays at Wilkes CC which is in Surry's conference. They have one of the best baseball programs in the state (bar none). I personally witnessed several of there games this year and saw nothing but class (and a lot of talent). I know in playing us for a fact that no trash talking happened even though they totally destroyed us on the field. They flat out kicked our butts, and did nothing bush league (stealing up 10 runs, squeezing, etc). I know several former Surry players who have nothing but positives to say about the program, coaching staff, etc. I am not sure of there final record or how many players they had drafted, etc. You must play at Louisburg and be mad because Surry mercy ruled you in the tournament.
