    ?The current coach had a 1 year contract..there are some names floating around who are interested in that position, but until the position becomes open...I'm not going to speculate.


    Maybe they'll call ME???? A nice feminine touch would work wonders with the program don't you think?

    Heard the position was posted on Monday.

    Providence Coach

    Could someone please tell me what exactly was wrong with the Providence coach? I saw them at least ten times and in my opinion their piching was great but their hitting was terrible.

    Can someone post boxscores from Providence games (if available)

    I would be interested in how well they hit the ball during the year.

    I have been around high school baseball for 25 years and it seems like every year the Providence coach is in question, at least ever since Smith left.

    The scoop was the pitching was EXCELLENT all year long, while offensively below expectations. Defensive lapses in crucial games at crucial times was the difference. Bottom line is the coach DIDN'T get it done in what LITTLE time he was afforded to do so! LITTLE "support" from outside the lines as well...:mad:
