    West Wilkes coach Wayne Shepherd resigned to take an assistant principal position. Any news on possible replacements?

    I am sure that Henry Jones has had so many qualified applicants that he just can't decide.......Supposedly, according to the Gazette, an announcement is forthcoming - I am sure it will make breaking news somewhere.....Good luck to whoever ends up as an Ironman - and God bless you...."Cher'vlls" a different place.....

    Yeah it's tuff in C. Vile. If it ain't baseball it ain't a sport. More coaches have said they have had trouble with the baseball folks not wanting those boys on the football field. Seems to be a valid argument because there have been some quailty athletes come through there, but you've never seen it translate to winning on the gridiron.
