How does King get swept with the pitching staff they had?? Let's see they had the North Forsyth pitchers of 3 are division 1 players, South Stokes, and RJ Reynolds. North Forsyth were semi-finalist in 4A, South Stokes were state champions, and RJ Reynolds made the 4A playoffs as well. Just dont understand how that team can already be out of the playoffs.

Just a few pitchers : Hobson(NC State), Larrimore(WCU), Boles(WCU), Conaway(96 @ State Games), Smith, Foushee(State Games), and that is not all they had.

    Are there some coaching problems????????????

I really don't know. That is a question for a King legion player or parent. They were really stacked I thought!

Thanks, I was just curious. If anyone has any info just let us know.

NCDad - heard any updates on 3rd round pairings in Area III.

King definitely had some talent; however, it sounds like Greensboro Post 53 has some talent of its own. Those Ragsdale players are very good,,, I mean "VERY" good.

As for 3rd round pairings, the way I understand it is that Eastern Randolph, Kannapolis, Kernersville and Mocksville are all assured of having homefield advantage in the next round; however, if High Point beats K'ville, some of the opponents will change. Therefore we are all simply awaiting the final outcome of the K'ville/H.Point series(which is tied 2-2) right now...
