    If you are a high school baseball player and you are serious at competing at higher level...Get on a team that is going to Jupiter for the Perfect Game World Showcase in the fall. It is worth the money. By far the #1 event that a team could go to. The best of the best will be there and it will be a great opportunity for you as a player to test your skills against the best as well as in front of I would guess 250plus pro scouts and college recruiters. You name a school and they are there. You name a Big League team, they are there. I heard that the Chicago White Sox alone had 26 of their scouts from around the country at the event. You gotta go and see for yourself. I hope it is not too late if this is the first time you are hearing about it to get on a team that is going. It might be.
    Just thought I would throw that out there since it was mentioned on another thread.

    I wonder how many teams in the state have qualified or been invited to this prestigious event?

    Thanks sugarjet...great to have you participating on the board again!!

    Oh, by the way, FYI:----- I overheard Braves talking to some scouts ( Pros and colleges ) at Perfect Games the other day. I heard him tell the college guys don't bother with your son. That he ( Braves ) represents him and for them not to waste their time.
    " He ain't goin' to college, boys...he's goin' straight to the Pros". That's what I heard him say....so be careful. Braves gets full of himself sometimes!!
