Kevin Dietrich is a rising senior at Providence High School. I have seen Kevin play before, but I got an up close and personal look at KD this summer.....and this is what I have found..

He can bunt for a hit with his blazin’ speed or hit a HR if you make a mistake. If you hit a ball to the OF, Kevin presses a magic button to accelerate to the ball...often making acrobatic catches.
I’ve see Kevin steal a base quicker than NC grasping for that last piece of cake...the kid can flat out play. And to round off the many traits of KD, the one that stands out is how he keeps a team loose....keeping a team from getting tight.

I must discuss another area that could be trouble for Art and Norma, KD’s parents. While playing in a tournament in the mountains of Tennessee a car rolled slowly down the street....a purty mountain girl stuck her head out the window and yelled “ Hey, Kevin”...right in the middle of a game!!! Yessir...Kevin Dietrich is a “player” in more ways than one:D

    YEPPER!

Kevin is a GREAT kid with a GREAT personality who seems to have unlimited potential as a baseball player! His natural ability/skills are amongst some of the best I have ever seen at this level! "Play for the moment"... Best of luck in ALL his future endeavors!

I agree to the fullest with everyone. I have had the pleasure to play with Kevin this past summer and now starting our Fall season. Kevin is not only a great ball player but brings a sort of energy to the field every game or practice. If you could combine a layed back and energetic trait that would descibe him. What an athlete!

Hey Super----great to have you on Board. It's nice to have the players post!!

But....huh.....gotta ask you. What position did you play when you were teammates with KD?

I thought I would add one more tidbit about Kevin. Ryan Wilson, the All Star catcher for West Rowan, when asked who was the best player he played with at State games..answered....Kevin Dietrich
