Wow...what a great ride!! It's been a long time since a Charlotte area Legion team has gone this far. I have always been a big fan of Coach Rummage and I was glad to see the success he and his team accomplished this year. I hope he comes back next year as well.

A TBR salute to Pineville Post and Randy Rummage...:applause:

Congratulations on a fine season to the Pineville team, which did appear to be a well coached, fundamental team. Bard could have made the difference.

Our team at one point came within one out of elimination before scoring 4 runs in the ninth to win. We'd then go on to play 4 more games, 3 in which we had to come from behind late to win. It was a great team to play for, and it showed a lot of character coming back to play in the finals. Good luck to all you guys next year.

Yes he could have, any team could use more pitching and Daniel is certainly the real deal. But this is a mute point because when given the opportunity to rejoin the team he opted not to! Having said this our pitching was more than adequate! they did a splendid job!

Well Pineville fan's, As you know we came in second, But being the runner-up in a state that has 96 teams isn't bad! We'll be back next year with our sight's set on the prize. There were a lot of good teams this year and we're very proud of our accomplishment! Thank you for your interest and support during this season and "God Bless".

A huge round of applause to the Pineville Post 337 team and their coaches. The Pineville legion team was a hard team to make this year because of all the talent in the area. The best 18 players were selected to go on to the NC Legion Play-off Finals. I am in hopes that Pineville has the great talent next summer that the legion team had this summer.

Pineville rose to the occassion when they needed to coming back for a spot for finals from the loser's bracket for the NC American Legion Chamionship in Fayetteville.
