The Elite 101 Scandel

Well hold on to your seat. You're fixin to get the REAL truth. They keep deleting my post and banning me so the TRUTH can't come out. I just hope it will stay on this board so BOTH sides can be heard!
Let's start by saying they reported in an interview in the Asheville Citizen Times. The Elite 101 was picked by high school coaches, recruiters, and Media AROUND the state. How does 5 staff members and 1 high school coach get to be all these people.
I was one of the 5 staff members there.
When we were picking the last 25 players. A recruiter from the college came in and was asked for some input since he knew alot of players from the East side of the state which we didn't have no tape or stats on these players. So he started rattling off players which we put down to try and balance the list or East/West player as much as possible. The statement was made by the boss that a certain poster from Cummings would not like the list because his player named Mapp was NOT on the 101 list and he would be emailing and calling him because of it and a player named Hennesey from Chatholic was NOT on the list either and his father would be calling him because he had been complaining all year that his son deserved more exposure.
Well we left together with our 101 list in hand.
Here's where the fun begins:
I was talking to the boss of the site on my way to practice at Brown on my cell. We talked about had I sent the 101 list to any newspapers yet? That was to be my assignment.
Upon arriving at practice. I was talking to a few fans and they were asking about why Jamil Weaks wasn't on the 101 lsit. I told them he was #56. They said no he wasn't on there. So I called the boss and asked him about Jamil Weaks. He replied. We changed the list before we left the college. Don't you remember. I said no. He tried for 5 minutes to tell me we changed the list
before we left. THIS WAS A LIE BUT HE KEPT ON TRYING TO TELL ME IT WAS DONE BEFORE WE LEFT.
When I got home I call the 2nd in command and left him a message on his phone about the boss lying to me about Jamil
Weaks. I was mad because I know when we all left together the list was complete.
I was not mad because Jamil was took off the list. It was that the BOSS LIED to me and couldn't tell me the TRUTH and I had to find it out by oing to practice and hearing it from the fans. I was VERY EMBARRAASED.
The next morning #2 gave me a call and told me I was off the staff. I told him what had happened and he said he had not checked his messages yet. #2 tells me the listed was changed about 4 days ago not at the college like the BOSS had said. I stated why did the BOSS lie to me and he said he would call and hear what he had to say.
I was right. The BOSS sends me an IM trying to apologize for the way he handled it. I didn't respond because I didn't understand why he would LIE to me on purpose. If not for me handing out all the business cards to coaches and recruiter. Alot of them would not have know about the site not counting dragging him from Williamston to Asheville to Virginia to the Nike camp. I did a HELL OF A JOB for the site and he does this to me. AGAIN IT WAS NOT THAT JAMIL WEAKS WAS TOOK OFF THE LIST SEVERAL DAYS AFTER IT WAS COMPLETE. IT WAS HIM BOLD FACE LYING TO ME FOR 5 MINUTES TRYING TO TELL ME I KNEW THE LIST WAS CHANGED. IT WAS CHANGED BEFORE WE ALL LEFT.
Well guess who got Jamils place on the list. hmmmm You guessed it Cummings player Mapp and there was a guy we picked whom we had no idea who he was and his name is Michael Enslow ( from the East) had ALREADY GRADUATED...DUH!!!!!!! Well Ryan Hennessey was put in his place. STRANGE ISN'T IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
One last thing about the BOSSES post on the other site about what had happened in his words.
If you read his first few line . He stated" We made our selections on that Saturday, and also made a few changes before we left." Then later in the post he said we talked on my way to practice and he was trying to tell me about the change of Jamil. WELL TELL ME THIS. WHY DID HE HAVE TO TELL ME IF THE CHANGES WHERE MADE BEFORE WE LEFT.
I TREID TO RESPOND TO HIS LIES BUT I WAS DELETED AN BANNED SO THE TRUTH COULDN'T COME OUT. WELL NOW IT IS!
WHY HE WOULD LIE TO A STAFF MEMBER ESPECIALLY ONE WHO HAS WORKED HIS BUTT OFF TO MAKE HIS SITE BETTER!

 

Sorry ....one more thing! I was told that Weaks was took off the 101 because he didn't have alot of playing time last yr. Well their #10 guy George Bell only played 3 games last year. How can a #10 with only 3 games be rated that high?

While in service with us Boxman was a good staff member there is no doubt about that. I will not dispute his above statement or argue with it as only keeps this fued going and its pointless.

Boxman I will say this thank you for our time with us and I hope you enjoy your time with this site as a moderator. I hope you recieve what you were looking for whenever you posted this post.

In closing I ask that no other Staff member from NCHSFootball.com reply to this statement as I wish for it to be over so that both sides can move on.

 

not sure what all of this is about, but i will say that, boxman, i hope you have more to contribute than grinding your axe with nchsfootball.

it was recommended to me that you be made a moderator here, but i'd rather not this be how our moderators make their debut.

 

No axe to grind.... Just telling the truth. Posters should know!
I've been bashed too long and needed to clear my name. I'm not the BAD guy.
No problem if you don't want me to moderate. I didn't ask for it but would have took it. I CAN add to the site but had to clear my name!

 

Boxman would bring a lot to this site. It's a shame that all this trouble has come up. Both sides have had their say so now it's time to turn our attention to football.

 

Smashmouth I agree and would honestly think he will do great job as a moderator for this site. That may sound like a load of bullcrap but as I have noted several times before I never had a problem with boxman and his ability to do his job.

He is a dedicated person without a doubt and you should reconsider having him as a moderator.

As far as the fued goes with our site and boxman I have asked everyone from our site to drop it and move on. I will work out the remaining issues with Boxman and both of us will move on. I hope the best for him and sincerely think you should reconsider and make him as a moderator.
