    Thanks ebhs. Titan radio stat man Walt Bagwell had the line of the night. "Well Van, Burns doesn't have a one hundred yard rusher tonight." What he didn't tell you was that they had about 6 guys with 80+ yards, or so it seemed. East Burke's running back Marsh may rush for over 500 yards in the McDowell game alone.:mad:

    Here are scores from Cabarrus and Rowan area from Friday night:
    A.L. Brown 42 North Rowan 27
    Wonders have just 5 first downs but big plays key the win. Jonathan Peeples has 83-yard kickoff return and 90-yard run for touchdown and Andrew Baker returned a fumble 33-yard return for touchdown.

    Concord 40 East Rowan 8
    QB Tommy Beecher throws for 274 yards and 4 TDs, also runs for another. Spider defense holds Mustangs to 160 yard total offense, 70 of which came on final drive against reserve defense.

    Mt. Pleasant 21 Central Cabarrus 9
    Tiger defense held QB Chip English to just 78 yards passing and two interceptions and Central running attack to 61 yards. Balanced Tiger offense controlled ball and scored three times in second half. Lone Viking touchdown came after Mt. Pleasant turned the ball over at their own 20.

    J.M. Robinson 26 Northwest Cabarrus 7
    Bulldog defense held Gerald Jackson to 91 yards on 26 carries. On offense Robinson got three TD passes from Brett Clay and a 77-yard touchdown run by Nehemiah Gill (5-117 yards). Northwest threw three interceptions.

    S. Rowan 36 Salisbury 20
    Red Raiders trailed 20 to 10 at the half but had big second half with Keith Fuller with an 80-yard punt return for TD and a 15-yard TD pass reception. On the ground South Rowan 52 carries for 300 yards.

    Davie County 28 West Rowan 7

    Sorry don't have information on First Assembly versus Charlotte Christian.
