ROME IS BURNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats taking place now in Chargerland certainly doesnt ruin Coach Stewarts Legacy as the best coach to ever stand on the sidelines at Crest, but it sure does tear down what was built. Its a dern shame....And the sad part is that we still havent played Hickory and a couple of other teams who are capable of hanging losses on the boys. If and when they hire another coach hopefully they will be smart enough not to hire from within. Problems arise with discipline and with the guys being too familiar with the coaching staff. And obviously with the way things have been this year the players DONT respect the coaching staff at ALL.. I know that for a fact. It just burns me to see that we are 0-3 and playing Hickory next week with the strong potential to be 0-4 ( and we havent seen Burns yet) and settling in for disappointing season full of excuses. I guess if the Roman empire had to fall... guess it was only to be expected that the Charger empire would as well. Its just a shame that we in the community should have been a part of at least 3 more Championships and now we have to deal with losses to SHelby, and definately a loss to Burns, what could be worse ( a loss to KM i guess). ...

 

the last couple of years many of you charger fans / players sure trashed Kannapolis for starting off the season with consecutive losses. I dont feel sorry for any of you at all. Join the crowd.

 

1-4.....0-5?

My only question is will Crest start o-5 or 1-4? If they start 1-4, who will they beat, Hickory or Marlboro County? I dont know much about either team, but I would rather know more about Hickory because I am a graduate of Burns. I do see Crest going to the majority of conference play being 1-4...trying to be nice. I also want to thank all the Charger fans that I have talked to and they are not makin excuses. They just flat out repeat...We suck this year! So on October 24, we will see just how bad you suck.

 

Its not that they "suck", and had a couple of breaks go against them. They still are a couple of plays away from being 2-1. They are not as good as previous years and have played a tougher schedule than previous years. Being 1-4 going into conference would be a good thing for Crest.

 

No they have not played a tougher schedule than in the past. The worst thing that you can do is make excuses. IF, IF IF... If this had happened.. If that had happened... Hell If Coach Stewart were still there theyd have three or four more banners in the stadium.. ( if you want to play with the IF's...)Bottom line is that things have not been disciplined the past few years and its starting to tell on them now. They are not only getting out coached they dont have a clue how to stop this bus from speeding downhill....Wray is gone, Bryson is gone and every other coach who kept order in the program has moved on... And so has the success.. Crest still hasnt played Hickory( thats a loss) Marlboro County ( thats another loss) Burns( definately a loss) that doesnt leave but 4 pretty sure games.. I didnt put KM in the mix but they are always dangerous.... and im sure everybody smells the Charger blood in the water.... and will come attacking.....

 

I agree that we are in trouble this year. Why are all these players leaving and / or getting kicked off the team. If any team loses 4 starters and a superstar of course they are not going to be as good.
