If Forestview is done 28-7 at half time and comes back to win the game 36-35......is that an upset? Well the Bulldog defense just gave up tonight against the Jaguars. Sorry guys...I just put it honestly!

stat boy i don't know if they quit, momentum is a huge thing. burns scored 21 points in the 1st quarter, the offense looked to be rolling. the qb was throwing and running well, defense looked as good as they have all year. burns lead 28-7 at the half. when you lose 4 fumbles and throw 1 interception it is tough to win no matter who you are playing. defensively i believe that their was 3 starters that did not dress and 1 on the offensive side of the ball as well as another one who was injured near the end of the first half. i am not making excuses, forestview did not quit and they made the plays when they had to. #1 the running back has tremendous speed and reminds me alot of littlejohn from crest. i thought that when forestview gained the lead for the first time, the qb from burns did and outstanding job of leading burns back to take the lead. everyone wants to talk about all the weapons that burns lost on offense from last year. i feel that the biggest loses from last year were on the defensive side of the ball. having to move withrow to qb cost them one of there leading tacklers. it may be time to look at playing people both ways againg to get the best athletes on the field at all times. coach king and his staff did a great job at halftime and their efforts were rewarded. hopefully burns will find a solution to the sprint toss before they play km next week.

That is a pretty big game next week for Burns. KM appears to be making steady progress and it's a county game which can't be taken for granted. Should be interesting to see how the Dogs bounce back.

    Briscoe???

Dont you think it is about time that Burns use Briscoe as more than just a decoy for the running game? Even though he is double coveraged, Withrow has to get him the ball and get him figured into the offense or we could be in for a long conference season....finishing 3rd that is.

Stat hit the nail on the head. If I'm coaching Briscoe gets his hands on the ball in my offense 10-15 times a game. This kid is a diffrence maker so he has to touch the ball. The few times I've seen Burns this year it looks like he's an afterthought.
