Why is ACHS sacred of CC ?

AC FAN WHERE DID YOU GO !!!! YOU ARE MISSING JUST LIKE THE ACHS SOFTBALL PROGRAM!!!!!! LET ME MAKE THIS SIMPLE FOR YOU AND YOU GED DIPLOMA!!! SHERRILL IS A WINNER!!! ACHS ADMID., ACHS FANS/PARENTS/SOFTBALL/FOOTBALL ARE NOW LOSERS!!! MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO FIND THE LOCAL FRIDAY NITE BINGO GAME AND PURCHASE TWO CARDS!!!! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

 

First of all, I would like to say that Coach Sherrill is a wonderful coach and a super motivator. He will be missed dearly by many of the players and parents of AC.

Second of all Joker, I really wish you would think before you post the immature bullshit that you do in reference to AC not being champions. I agree the program is going through changes due to the administration and coaching changes. Not for one minute do I think that AC was not invited because they have been labeled "losers". Possibly because this was something Sherrill had put together and it was something that he wanted to carry on on his tenture at CC. But do not refer to our children as losers. Our past championships speak for themselves.

Third, Tip, the success AC has had in the past is not the work of just one coach. It is our girls that played the games and won the championships banners that hang in our gym. This is by far not the work of one man. Success is in the eyes of the beholder.

Fourth, Gator, you come on the prep boards and spew your negative crap all over the place. You obviously do not have children, nor do you seem to care about what you say in reference to AC parents and athletic programs. For you have labeled them all losers. You have no right to call parents / students losers in general. They were not the decision makers in this issue. But hey you have been a someone who hops on a bandwagon since you have joined this board why change now. You seem to me like you are the type of person who will continue to ride the coat tails of other just to make yourself look good. Some day down the road when Sherrill leaves CC I assume they will be on your shit list also. You have no backbone.

Finally, to CC students parents and administration, you have hired a great leader for your program. I sincerly wish you the best in the upcoming season. You will definately be a championship contender with the talent of your ladies and the direction given by Coach Sherrill.

As far as coach sherrill goes he was a great motivator even though some of his methods were questionable they got the job done. As far as class, he has none and without class you get no respect. i'd rather go 500 with class and dignity than have a perfect season without it. there's my 2 cents

I do not believe Coach Sherrill is a loser by any means "ACFootball99". He did a lot for the softball program at ACHS, just as he has been and will continue to do for the CCHS softball program. Give credit where credit is due... he knows his softball.

 

The last time AC had a winning record was with Sherrill. The loser in the situation was the players at AC. ACFootball, stay with football. You definately don't know softball and it looks like you are struggling with your football if you play for Alexander.

 

Let's Go ACHS Ladies

You know what? It sounds like to me that the only ones that are complaining are the adults in the situation. When you put AC Fastpitch down, it's not really the coaches or the school administration. It is the players (you know; the ones that are actually out on the field playing) that seems to be the victims here. I really hope the players do not know some of the things being said on this board about them.

These girls, even now, are the ones out there training and working to be the best that they can be. Sure, the coaches are the ones that lead the girls. They are there to help them improve their skills and teach them. The girls, however, has to be dedicated to work on the skills and listen and learn. Coach Sherrill instilled in the girls to be their best always. He left the girls with the confidence that they could play anyone and come out on top. Coach Bolick is here now to enhance the situation with his skills and knowledge of the game. But in the end, it is the girls that has to prove that they can be the best. As long as they do that, what more can you ask of them?

Last year was an especially hard year for the team. It was going to be a rebuilding year anyway with 7 seniors to replace. There was doubt that it could be done, even though there were very capable underclassmen to come up to fill the shoes. but to add to that fact was the deal about Coach Sherrill quitting and worse than that, their dear friend and teammate, Tiffany, dying. I think the team rose above all of that and did very well. I was very PROUD of you ladies! BUT NOW, THAT YEAR IS OVER. LET'S MOVE ON TO THE FUTURE!!!!!!!

About the Clash of Champions, the coaches came because of Sherrill, so naturally they would go to where he is at. But, don't worry about the AC girls. They will be getting plenty of playing time since Coach Bolick is busy putting together a very busy schedule. They will be playing as many games as allowed to get ready for a winning season. BESIDES, you do not have to go to Pennsylvania to find competative teams to play.

When the time comes that AC and CC meet, I hope that Coach Sherrill will remember that even though he has some bad memories at AC, he also had a good relationship with his players. They respected him and wanted to be the best partly to make him proud. It will be hard on these girls, not physically; but mentally, to play against him.

You know, Coach Sherrill, sometimes it takes a bigger man to set aside differences with parents/adults for the kids' sakes. After all, that is what it is all about: the kids and preparing them for the future. They are not adults yet!!!

Good luck to both teams in the spring. It should be another interesting year!!! Can we make it?

i know softball...and i know sherrill...i was around him enough to know that his ways are obsurd. He was a good softball coach, i never said he wasn't. There is a difference in losing and being a loser. and apparently you are one of the LOSERS who comes to the football games to sit there and socialize. That's what the problem is with this town is there is no school spirit around here. You have no problem downing the football program but it's LOSERS like you who won't do anything to try to pick this program up. It takes years to build up a program like AC Reynolds and this one is well on the way. If you would take the time to see this...then maybe you would REALIZE what a loser really is.

 

and how about you keep this forum to softball and sherrill and not football
