I think Dane is a junior this year ... Providence is loaded with senior pitchers who can heave the ball. He may have to bide his time one more year before he gets his shot. Some of the current senior pitchers at Providence were in the same boat last year behind Taffazoli and company.

The best young player providence had left. Just like his brother i predict Jared Bard to be an absolute stud. Too bad, he left. could you imagine providence with Bard last year, solves their offensive woes, and helps out a little on the mound too, if they only knew what they had...

    I have a question...

Who is the pitcher that you want on the mound In the conference tournament finals from this the Southwestern AAAA. There are some good ones, but who is the guy who will win when it is a do or die situation? Which pitcher deals with the atmosphere that many will have to face in the upcoming season? Just curious. Lets hear who and why. Thanks.

Easily Buchanan. He's been pitching since he was a sophomore and has can bring it. He may not have the most speed but he has great command. He always comes out and gives it 110% no matter what team it is. With him on the mound you can score 3 or 4 runs and still win. I'm sure Teague and Gehringer can atleast put up that much runs.

    I agree!

Buchanan is tough! Seemingly a great competitor. Justa as you said has great control and knows HOW TO PITCH!
