metro, providence has the best talent in the city, agreed? but... they havnt been winning nearly enough to be called the best program in they city since 91. there coaching has been real shaky the past few years and they havnt played well, except for last years playoff run. now with hignite, that all could change. id say they had the best program from '91 through '98-'99. now christian or myers park and even south could even claim having the best program around

    HMMMMMMMM!?!

Providence in my opinion does and has had the best "natural, raw" talent in the city since its inception unequivicably.... It is harboring the zealot parents... THEY run the show not the school, administration, central office, AD, etc.... The notion of "DADDY BALL" is the norm at that institution! For the most part with few exceptions I have heard that it is all about he me him I whereas TEAM is really or rarely holdsany importance at all! As always however I hope PHS takes it all again!

    Wait CC!

Don t get me worng CC the kids ALL HS kids/players for the "most" part are good kids and very high quality kids ie at Providence yet it is the parents in most instances where it all mostlly breaks down ... Wanting to live their unfulfilled dreams thru their kids as well as NOT looking and assessing their ability objectively. Always try to remain objective while not listening to alot of what is heresay. Hope this makes some sense?

Not this year O, not with the group of seniors they have. most of them have played togther since they were 12 on the mudcats, and if anyone knows anything about that team you know they were a classy group of guys, you must also consider the new coach. i dont no much about hignite, but i doubt he'll put up with that crap. but i do see your point in the past, since smitty left it has been daddy ball. i think things change this year
