    Ashley Stewart (Forest Hills) 12th
    Brittany Cantrell (Mt. Pleasant) ?
    Jackie Richards (Forest Hills) 12th
    North Stanly and Charlotte Catholic also has several good players.

    giving props where props are due.......Emily Pierce from ACHS is tufffffff and look for her to shine 2004 thru 2010!

    Leah is a lock at D2 and with her contiuning her hard work during the offseason ,is D1 material (NC State likes her) for sure! Smooth player and outstanding person as well and we wish her the best of luck this year! Do you know her schools on her long or short list? Keep us updated!:D

    Thanks CF for the kind words for Emily!! Still pretty humbled by the talent God has given her. As for Leah I know NC State makes her smile but I know for a fact that any college team would be very privileged to have Leah play for them. She is one of those people that you're glad your own daughter gets to play ball with because of her intensity as a player and as a team member. She is the first one there and the last one to leave. She takes time with each team member (varsity and jv) taking the example as a leader to a whole new level. She pushes herself to the max. And I believe she has gotten herself in the best shape physically this year which should give her the best season yet!!! Go Leah and AC!!!

    Brittany Cantrell is a junior. She has hit three homeruns out of the park this fall and can play every position. She also has great speed and should have a great year. Brea and Kayla are outstanding players also. Not sure I know Leah by name but have probably played against her. Sounds like she is a great player. Watch out for Tori Siefert at Robinson High, Megan Burleson, West Stanly and Brittany Blanton, South Meck, they all have played well in the summer and fall. Central will be loaded again with Amanda Barrs, Allison Presnell, Gina, Stephanie Beatty, and the Covington girl. Some good HS softball to come. Butler will be better than some think with some good young guns coming on the scene.

    how about Randy Pruitt from Maiden, break out year for her.
    how about Morgan Mayer from Huss?
    how about "Rock" Gaiten from Forestview??
    And CF Ball, you're right, many young teams is Big South this year.

    Mendy McKenzie from West Forsyth should be a player to watch this spring. She is a rising junior and an outstanding pitcher with great work ethic. She got alot of expierence this summer playing for Coach Chandler and the Carolina Cardinals. Good luck this spring.

    2 of the best in NC???? and probably the Southeast???? Tell me who is recruiting them. UNC, NC State, Florida St., no no I know TEXAS LONGHORNS with Cat Offerman, or UCLA and Lisa F. These 2 young ladies are good players not taking away from them but you might want to watch your comments. Any coach would like to have them, both can play the game, would make alot of HS teams better. But don't get ahead of yourself there LBlues1.

    amen to thecoach! north carolina is blessed with a lot of good players; but reconsider when stating "the best". on a local level, maybe they excell; but you have to consider the state level. then explore the regional and even national levels as well. that will put it into prospective. then you will know where your favorite players fit in.
