As we approach, and it's hard to believe, the end of the season, Who is in the drivers seat for a con. championship and those all important top seeds?

as usual the Tri-County 3A is down to Ragsdale and Eastern Randolph. Both undefeated in conference and they play in Jamestown on the 24th. E. Randolph has to play High Point Central this Friday. ER has a very good team but it wouldn't surprise me to see Central upset them.

OK...here is what I am thinking about the SWFH3A conference with only 3 wks to go in the regualr season.....
    1 - Crest
2 - Burns (Friday at Hickory maybe a fun game)
    3- Hickory
    4 - St. Stephens
    5 - Kings Moutain
    6 - Fred T. Foard
    7 - RS Central

ok....got to have at least 4 wins to be eligible for the playoffs....elgible from the SWFH3A will be Burns, Crest, Hickory, and St. Stephens.

    Questions? Comments? Words of Wisdom?

J.M. Robinson is in the driver's seat for the South Piedmont, but they have Concord the last game of the season. Concord could win the title or at least a tie, but they have to win out and get help from Piedmont when they play Weddington. Concord's schedule is tougher than Robinson's with Anson, Piedmont and Robinson left.

The Rocky River Conference is wide open now with Monroe, Mt. Pleasant and Charlotte Catholic with good shots. A lot will depend on what Mt. Pleasant and Catholic do when they play Oct. 24. A win this week against W. Montgomery and a win at home against Catholic would give Mt. Pleasant at least a tie for the conference title. It would be their first since 1982.
