I didn't agree with some things you said over on the other thread, but I can say one thing Leah is one of the best motivators for a young player (my daughter) and many other young players .Shes a great role model......I'm glad I've gotten to know her.
As for your daughter I know for several years she's eat, drank and slept softball and she's a great person as well....
She will be succesful because she has the right attitude...
Keep up the good work with her....

    thanks bigdog

You're right Leah has made an impact on AC players especially mine. For anyone to move up a notch in their perspective life whether it be softball or driving a nail you need to see that example in someone, as for softball at AC that example is Leah Krohn. Another one that made a tremendous impact on AC softball and my girl was Tiffany Crouse. I don't know how many times I have said that Emily would have become a much better player if Tiffany hadn't lost her life. She was what I call a "kamakazi" player she held back nothing. I appreciate the fact that you think Emily has been a part of anything for other girls. She continues to surprise me. Oh, I hope I didn't offend you in anyway in other thread, if so sorry!

Big transition year......Maybe too soon to tell for sure but one things for sure, With the players coming back and moving up they will be strong..... I like some of the young players,Kayla Johnson,Heather Grant(hope she tries out)they will be without a doubt conference winning material both jv and varsity.....but as you know yourself it's going to be tough especially at the playoffs this year........several strong players moving from middle school this year and the next 2...........mine still plays at the middle school level...........

I'm sure you've seen the talent level has sure increased at the middle school level and on down. Alot more girls starting to play tourn. ball early and I know some younger girls have went and got a taste of it and loved it. I am a bulldog fan since my girls and myself attended there. Megan Laxton is going to be tough in the future and others but East sure showed alot of great ball playing skills under the direction of former AC and Pfeiffer player Kylie Cockrell. Those girls will benefit tremendously under her care!! Stop by and chat if you see me at the field and I hope you have a had a chance to meet Coach Bolick and introduced your daughter to him. He seems to like to meet all of the girls that are interested in fastpitch.

Megan is already a good pitcher (7th grader) as you know, she too eats and drinks softball and it is paying off, hard working parents.....Jordan Poarch 8th Heidi Seles 8th Ashleigh Benfield 8th Kirsten Morris 7th from West Lindsey Looper 7th just to name a few....Also from East Ashleigh Williamson 8th and Megan Chapman probably one of the best i've seen as far as all around athleate also 8th and again several 7th graders Chelesa Sherill Brittany Loudermelk just to name a few.......I'm sure Cougar softball will be competitive for a number of years to come.......Coach Bolick already have the seeds planted............ Not to mention the other talented players moving on up
