    Burns lost to Hickory in several overtimes. I forget the score but the Bulldogs took A KNEE with 2 seconds to go on the 2 yard line thinking it would stop the clock, UM, HELLO, RON GREENE, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? :mad: Northcarolinaihigh is out so I can't look up the score, but Burns was stopped short on 4th down. They were leading 14-0 in the 4th quarter! :mad:

    wossa, Toney Baker had 337 yards rushing on 26 carries (13 yds/carry), 5 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion for 32 of Ragsdale's points. For the season, 2047 yards on 185 carries (11 yds/carry) and 25 touchdowns.

    Reserve halfback Charqual Sherrill enters the games in the first quarter after an injury to starter David Sherrill and rushes for 167 yds. and 3 td's. Kannapolis scores on a long run by J. Peoples on the Wonders second play from scrimmage but after a 14-14 halftime tie it was all Mooresville in the second half. The young Blue Devils defense throttled the high scoring Wonders in the second half and limited them to an "oh by the way" touchdown pass with 40 seconds remaining in regulation.

    wossa would have been proud. :D
