Forsyth County teams

    Just checking to see what everyone's opinions were about the teams in Forsyth County. I know that Carver and Parkland are two of the weaker teams, but would like more info on all the teams. Anyone know anything about these teams and their coaches?

    Don't have alot on those two. Coach Massey will have to help on Parkland.

    Reynolds will return a veteran crew. 2b Nick Derose- inf/rhp Torrey Johnson-1b Jay Laramore-of/lhp Hamton Foushee!
    Will compete for championship of the CPC!

    Glenn has the Caldwell brothers rhp /ss Ryan and of/rhp Zac returning along with rhp/cf Toni Morini and c Barry Hill!
    Will be in the thick of things in PT3A!

    East Forsyth will return rhp Adam Collins of/lhp Kevin Mattison
    3b/rhp Andrew Flynt and rhp/1b Ryan Basham!
    Should compete for Metro 4A championship!

    West Forsyth returns 3b/rhp Dan Poindexter and Ryan Atwood!
    Should be in top 2 in CPC!

    North Forsyth returns of/rhp DJ Mitchell-of/lhp Addison Johnson.
    Will also be in the thick of things come conference time!

    Mount Tabor returns stud Chris Kahler!
    Rebuilding year!

    IMO, Forsyth County fields some of the toughest high school teams out there. I follow NW Guilford, so we face North Forsyth, East Forsyth and Mt. Tabor in Metro 4A play, as well as West Forsyth twice a season OOC. You can always count on facing quality teams that are well-coached and players who really play to win.

    Hey Clipper. It's JH! North will be young but have the talent, East good, Good Luck to Parkland - , Glenn didn't have much this fall but ya never know with them, Mt. Tabor will be ok, West will be good, thats all I got for now!

    Well NC Dad I'm not sure about Carver, but Clipper was right, Parkland is definitely in a rebuilding year. We are looking for a better year than last, but we still have a long way to go. I know that we play Reynolds, North, and East this upcoming season, and I know that might be over scheduling for this type of team, but I want these young players to see what it takes to become one of the better teams not only in Forsyth County, but in our conference as well.

    I "think" the new coach is Melvin Palmer. he coached 1 year at tabor.
