look very average. They have speed but are very small on the offensive and defensive line.I personally would like to know who they have been playing to get a 145 wins.I think if they played a number of teams in NC or SC they would lose.I think Indy would smoke De La Salle easily...Im not a Indy fan but DeLa Salle did not impress me at all

I hate to dissagree with you but the team they were playing was the delasalle of louisiana or the Indy if NC.... This is california football and guy thats like Florida football... Even Louisiana football is ahead of NC... If you want to dream of NC football being at this level go ahead but first you need to contact the NCHSAA and tell them to make some changes like full-contact spring practice or something... NC is so far behind these guys and it shows by getting waxed every year in the shrine bowl!.... DeLaSalle is legit and the schools they play are Legit and over half there opponents could walk away with the NC 4-a title with ease, if not 3\4ths.... When its all said and done and next year is upon us, Look and see how many of these DeLaSalle kids are on major, high ranked division one rosters and compare that to Independence... I was very impressed with them as I was Evangiline, those teams looked liked very good small colleges out there...

I think you are on crack. Delasalle hasn't lost a game since like 1989. They would roll over anyone in NC. The best teams in NC would have a difficult time playing with the average programs in CA.

It's hard to believe, but I agree with TD on this one. I've seen footage of this team before, and I think we have teams in NC and SC that can play with and maybe beat De La Salle.

I didn't get to see De La Salle play but if they look fast on TV then they have to have some amazing speed. I think they can beat almost any team in the country whenever and where ever. Because they are not scared of anything. They don't have to go up against the team with a 146 game winning streak.

I don't agree with the thought that average California team can walk away with the NC 4A title easily. There isn't that big of a talent gap between NC and California or any state. NC is starting to change the rules and is allowing more practice situations, we also won the Shrine Bowl easily last year 28-3 so we don't get beat every year.

I lived in california for 6 monthes and HS football in NC and SC doesn't even compare... come on guys, get some sense about ya.... How many DeLaSalle players are going to top 10 programs? The answer is at least 10... Hell when your backup QB is being recruited by USC, UCLA, Oklahoma and Miami...... Just how good you think these guys are.... And oh by the way was DeLaSalle supposed to blow by a school that has won 8 Louisiana state championships in 10 years? Come on guys this was a good team and the score was a lot closer than the game actually was.... What is really amazing is that DeLaSalle does what it does by playing the best competition it can play and not only taking care of the state of california but bringing in each year some top programs from around the nation and beating them and hell they even pay for them to come to california when its a home game...
I think you young guys with some pretty far fetched dreams dont realize the difference in football betwennn the carolinas and the mega football states like California, Florida and Texas! read your Sports Illustrated guys but its really ok to dream.... You need to read the SI issue about DeLaSalle and see just how many alumni they have now in division one and the NFL.....

De La Salle has 3 players in the NFL...THATS ALL?? They looked average to me.I think the Chris Leak Indy teams would smoke De La Salle. Their defense is quick and their offense is average.Their QB looked like a jr high QB
