Who's coming to Enka?

    Rumors are flying over who is interested in coming to Enka as the head football coach. Coach Conner is retiring at Christmas. Enka needs a top notch quality individual to get these kids going. The support coaches are there and ready. Coaches Tarr, Capps and Reed and Burleson are doing a pretty good job and I'm sure will make the new guy feel right at home.

    Several names have been circulated (mostly rumors I suppose), Bobby Poss, Carey Metts, Luke Manuel and a few others.
    Coming in after an 0-10 season is going to be tough.

    come on people . Someone has to know something. Enka needs a good coach in a bad way. Put your ears to the ground and lets here some news.

    EnkaBall05 I've heard the Poss rumor my self, (bought a house in the area) If he did he's got my respect he'll be giving up his retirement to take on a, from the ground up rebuild.

    BobParoli and son Mike were at the school last week. He is at Douglas Byrd in Fayetteville.I hear he is a good coach as well as his son. Maybe this is the man that can turn it around.

    Tell me more. We need a bunch of those size guys here. Still no news on a head coach and its mid December????

    What grade will Mr. Wilmington be ?????
