My family and I are moving to Huntersville, NC soon and I wanted to say I really enjoy reading this board. I havent a clue about baseball in NC - so pardon me if I ask a whole lot of dumb questions the next few months.

And thanks ncdad for letting me know about this board.

    Regards

    Braves,

I'm from Mount Kisco, NY. Small town about 50 miles north of the city. My son attends Winthrop Univ. in SC and I also have a 14 year old son. We love baseball and I hope to learn alot here.

We are really looking forward to our new home and community.

    Regards

    Its,

Welcome! The Charlotte area is certainly a great place for baseball, of all ages, and there are some great folks on this board. Looking forward to hearing from you, and don't forget to check out the chat room.

Welcome ITG! You have joined the best thing going for high school baseball in NC! We look forward to your posts once you get settled in. The Carolina region is an upcoming baseball haven. More and more of the top kids are coming from here.

TBR may be small but the wealth of baseball knowledge here is unbelievable. If you can ask it someone here will have an answer.
    Welcome again!

I thought BRAVES recruiting in the Charlotte Metro area was questionable, but GEEZ Pops, going all the way to NY to pick up North Meck talent...Shamless!!!

ITG, if you really want your son to get into bigtime baseball, move over to Gaston County, adjacent to Mecklenburg and join the Ashbrook High School team in Gastonia! :)

Seriously, welcome to NC and the talent laden baseball area of the state!
