Emory did blow that game..We have been crying all year for him to use the Spread offense with the Simpson kid at QB and moved Jamar Rush Crump Quick and the tightend in the slot.Put Whitley in at RB.With that formation Richmond scored a TD on Indy in 4 plays...Indy could not stop it yet Emory has been reluctant to play it.Made no sense in addition to going for 2 in the 2nd quarter.Oh well its over..I know some people are still pretty pissed about that game..Maybe we should take out our frustrations by beating Scotland or Crest again :D

Heard from a very reliable source that Independence will meet an undeafeated team from California to battle it out which seems fitting for either team to be beat by an undefeated team.

Were would this be at? If it in Charlotte, they would have to play at Ericsson.
I do not see anyone in NC or SC beating them next year.

Another Bitch move by Knotts.De La Salle is losing 20 of 22 starters.Sorta like Indy wanting to play Spartanburg after they graduated the whole team. The Raiders asked for a game next year and he declined said they had to play Myers Park...Maybe Crest will nut up..Like their pride..even though the Raiders OWN them

Tommy turned down a game with Crest 2 years ago. Tommy doesn't want Crest. He can't stand the thought of playing a good NC schedule and then Richmond in the playoffs after some weaknesses have been exposed by good teams. All we will hear about is how Tommy will have ended that win streak of De La Salle if they play, but Tommy knows exactly what he's doing. It's just like the Spartanburg game all over again. Hey Indy, play Gaffney, they also bring back a lot of talent, wait that's not Tommy's M.O. There are enough quality teams in NC that Indy should play before De La Salle.

HEY TOMMY, CREST IS STILL THE LAST TEAM TO BEAT YOU! PLAY THEM!

this is a story that was in USAToday last week talking about De La Salle. It mentions that Indy wanted to work out a game against them next season, but it is looking unlikely since De La Salle already has one out of state game in Seattle.

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/football/2003-12-23-de-la-salle-no1_x.htm

I would love to see them take on Crest again...but not as the first game of the season. I would prefer to see this game mid-way through the season as both teams would be able to work out any kinks along the way. Crest beat Indy before they caught stride 4 years ago...and certainly a game early this season would have probably seen Indy roll over a struggling Crest team.

Because it's not up to Crest which classification they play in. The wonderful NCHSAA decides that. Coach Kirby told them before the last realignment that Crest would have 4A numbers when school started that year (were only 30 students short when they got the numbers). He asked to be left in the NW4A, but they said no. Crest will move back up next time.
