    I thought this was a done deal. When will the announcement take place? Any new word?

    I don't know what the hold-up is But one of Biggerstaff's former assistants at WC when he was there was asked if he would be a part of Biggs staff. I'm sure not long after Monday nights school board meeting they will be an announcement.

    You must be referring to Grayson Beane or Kyle Dunn. I think both are good assistant coaches that left the program because of differences with Styron. Any word on who BIGG will bring with him? Any word on what current assistants will be staying or going?

    I am still hearing that both sides are far apart on money. Sure, it's a given that the community, administration, and BIGG want this thing to work. However, I keep hearing this thing about the money keep coming up. What are you hearing?

    I think the money issue is just a bad rumor. When Bigg approached the administration he wanted facility improvements and it was said money was not a big issue. The school board hasn't met the last two mondays and after this monday look for some news to finally come out. The coach that was contacted I beleive was Bob Brown who was a great line coach and motivater when he coached with Bigg before and he would be a great asset to coach Biggs staff. Brown said veven when hired at East Burke if Mike had asked him to be a part of his staff there he4 would have went. Brown has been out of coaching for a while but he's as fine a assistant coach as you'll find. He'll light a fire under these kids butt's! Discipline and stamina as well as sound fundamentals will no longer be a problem at WC!

    You are right, Bob Brown is a good man and a good coach. However, his health is ailing and I do not think he will be part of the staff. Any word on other coaches that will be staying or going?

    I have also heard John Mackey's name surface as a possible asst. He was with coach Biggs staff at West and I heard he would like to join coach Bigg again. Also would Harold Warren come with coach Bigg from East Burke, I think we will have the answer in the next week.

    Dean Hamel , the former Washington Redskin was the coach Bigs contacted to be a part of his staff. But Brown is still a possibility. Bob said all Bigg had to do was ask.

    Mackey would be great for the Defense!!! Big will have an excellant staff!
