The official word on Mike Biggerstaff!

I got Chris Burtons e-mail address off of nchsfootball.com and e-mailed him and the following is his reply to my e-mail......


"We made him a very good offer and he looked at it over Chirstmas and decided it was too soon to leave East Burke. We are expanding our search to get the best person we can. Thank you for your interest."

Something sure changed his mind because before Christmas his son said he was coming

 

MONEY. I guess his blood is not as Warrior blue as we thought. Well that's good for East Burke and very bad new's for West Caldwell. Maybe the Warrior's will land a good coach but I have know idea who it will be.

I SMELL A RAT!
If BIGG was so keen on keeping his word then why did he even entertain the possibility of taking the job in the first place? I've heard a couple of things on this issue. A very good source said that BIGG used this whole thing as a means of getting more money out of EB. In fact, this person said that as soon a BIGG was made an offer he immediately went to the EB officials and said he needed more money. In other words, he played EB like a fiddle. Second, WC just didn't have the mojo to pony up the cash to pay him anything close to what he was making at EB. Finally, when he found out what a spineless jackle Chris Burton was he backed out fearing major conflict (I say he should have recognized that when Burton approached him before he canned Styron). I say it's a combination of all reasons. Apparently BIGG's blood doesn't bleed as blue as we all thought. I think that if he really wanted to come back he would have taken less money. It's not like the Biggerstaff's are hurting for money.
Bottom line here is that Chris Burton is slime. I never have cared for the guy. He's an absolute zero who has placed the program is worse shape than it was when he canned Styron.
BIGGY has shown his true colors. He obviously loves money more than he loves WC. I think it's time for people in the community to forget this guy and unconditionally get behind the next guy whomever he might be. In summary, I ask you people to not throw BIGG in the next guys face either. I feel like the community did that to Styron and has done it to every coach since BIGG. Face guys, BIGG sold out when he had the chance to come home.
