No question West Stanly, Forest Hills, Catholic will be good, and the teams to beat, However, watch for North Stanly and Mt Pleasant to be very competitive. North was good last year, and Mt Pleasant will have a nice mix of young and veteran players. Should be a good year, I feel this conference has several very good teams for small 2A drawing areas. Looking forward to getting started and seeing how it plays out ! Good luck to all !

RRC softball has aways been enjoyable. Over the last several years, CC and west have been the teams to beat, but i do agree that Forest Hills and Mt. Pleasant should def. be right there with them this year. West will have an advantage after going to Raleigh last year, all the returning players will want to be there again come June. But without Blackwelder and the catcher Strope on both offense and defense, i dont see them being as dominate. Those will be 2 hard roles to fill. Forest hills had a great season last year, and with most if not all of their key players returning, they should be stronger than ever. Does anyone know where Eva, Ashley and Jackie are planing to go to college?? Good luck to everyone in '04

I don't know quite as much bout high school ball, more bout tour. teams, but I feel that East Rowan will be pretty strong. They have alot of talent, with Candace Hurlocker pitching her last year, some pretty good freshman coming up,Gina Loflin, with big sis Ashley,East will be a competetive team, don't rule them out. Bet ya can't guess what school district I live in.
