Coaching change at ACHS?

Wow! Seems to be that ACHSFan is very unhappy with this coach. I meant nothing personal about him when I said "Out with the old, and in with the new". I have heard one person talk negatively about him, and many including a gentlemen in McDonalds this morning who was discussing with some men at his table about what a good job this Perry guy did (although he had some minor problems, but was to be expected with his 1st experience) with the Legion team. Not sure who this guy was, as I was a table over from him. I did notice that he said that he had to do some work someone's appliances. ACHSFan, this boardmember whom you speak highly of, what exaclt yhas he done that was so good? I have met a couple of the board members in this area and sports wasnt mentioned. Playme, you seem to have some issues with the head coach and the AD? And you seem to also be knowledgeble about the situation at ACHS. And who is Hollifield?? ACHSFan, I read your proflie, very interesting AOL profile. I am understanding why you posted what you did, but for now we will keep that between us.

 

no i have no issues with anyone at ACHS. i think Perry has done a lot more positive for the kids there than any negative accusation..yes T'ville legion, without their seniors, defeated Bard and 2 other pitchers..

ACHS is led by seniors, who as freshmen went, unbeaten ( 20-0 ) 3 years ago in the NW4A..probably has one of the most talented teams in state...any coach could take this team and make the play-offs..the problem is utilizing all the talent...

Playme, I appreciate the PM and would love to meet you for coffee but atleast for now I can't because my job is calling me out of town for a couple of days. I will have my laptop to keep me up on the postings. And also ACHS Fan thank you for the PM, please inofrm me on the wqay things were handled this summer with the Legion Team. ACHS Fan good luck on the season, will you have a starting position? Are you the junior that I hear will be starting? I assume that you are a junior since your profile says that you were on JV last school year. Good luck ACHS!

 

Talked to my good buddy ACHSFan the other night and he filled me in on the fact that in his mind, most of the boys are glad to see the former assistant coach fired. He obviously has been talking to teammates and they have been discussing this issue. If this team is like the softball team, then I am sure that the baseball kids are members here. Guys ring in!

 

ACHS has one of the best teams in the state. Some great players on that team. It's really not going to do any good to keep stirring the pot. They need to be concentrating on the season at hand and go for the gold. They have a legimitate shot. Just play ball guys for the coach you have and support each other throughout the season.
