The new realignment numbers are up. Seem that NC has grown about 16 HS.

In the west Smoky Mountain dropped to 2A.

Just happy about some teams that will be leaving certain classifications, which had some advantages over others in alot of sports, not just softball.

Why don't you just say that you will be happy that Catholic is going 3a instead of beating around the bush. Since they are the only team in the RRC that is changing classification it really isn't hard to figure out.

I'm happy. Should have been out year's ago. Non-public school = chance of recruiting. If anything should be highest classification, 4A. See ya.

With tht new realignment, the mountain Valley 2A became arguably the best conference at the 2a level. Forbush, West Stokes, Starmount, North Wilkes, and Ashe County are 5 programs that are always in the state playoffs. And Forbush, Starmount, Ashe, and West Stokes all have legitimate shots at making it to Raleigh this year. Not to mention that N. Wilkes made it to the elite 8 last year and sweet 16 two years ago. It should get interesting.

wow ........that will be a great conference! Playoff spots will be hard to come by and each conference game meaningful.

Good luck this year and welcome to TBR softball. Are you from this area and will you be posted scores and schedules from that area for us this year?
