    Freedom 64 Watauga 49

    Freedom took a 20 point lead late in the first half. Watauga kept fighting back and got it within 15 winning the second half with some good shooting by Jessie hodges who finished with 19 points.

    By the way, Tara Tate is really good!!! No suprise I am sure>

    South Caldwell by 2 over East Burke in a wild one. East Burke ahead by 1 with 3 seconds left and they get a technical.

    east burke-south caldwell





    any more details on this game. What was the technical for. Was this game played at Icard or south caldwell.

    East Burke had a one point lead and the ball with only 4 or 5 seconds left. South Caldwell fouled a girl to stop the clock and a minor scuffle ensued. A technical was called on EB and a Personal foul on SC. EB girl missed the front end of the 1 and 1 and SC hit both technical foul shots to take a one point lead. SC got the ball out of bounds and was fouled with 2 seconds left. Made the first but missed the second EB girl threw the ball the length of the court and it went in but time expired before she released the ball. At least on EB parent ran on the court after the game and was removed by the police. Exciting end!!!

    Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    All I can say is WOW! I hope these two teams meet again in the conference tourney, that would be a great game to see! I imagine a little bad blood will be had between those two next time around if it occurs. Would love to see a video of the last 5 seconds of this one! Was the last second shot really late or was it "too close to call"?

    It was actually late, the ball was touched dropped and fumbled, rolled and then someone tapped it to the EB player, she took a few dribbles and then let it go, so with all that occuring and only 2 seconds on the clock it was definitly late, but it was exciting to watch.
