In order to prevent grades from becoming an issue during the middle of the season, the NCHSAA has graciously changed their policy and allowed the implementation of a "Qualifying Examination" in order to determine eligibility for varsity baseball. (I understand it's based on the Florida Model for JUCO's).

We have been lucky enough to get a sample examination and wanted to post it here as a practice examination for all players.

"No Parent left behind" either apparently. I only listed the questions that I missed. I thought the rest of the exam was too easy personally.

    Congrats Mudcat!
In question 6, from the Florida test, I see you changed that from "Mickey's big hand on the 12 and Mickey's little hand on the 5."

I didn't do so good, I though Shakespeare made fishing rods!

Thank you....it wasn't easy you know. I took my time and did the best I could.

I still think that Knute Rockne started the tradition at Cornell....most people don't realize that Knute was a coach there, but if they knew him personally like prepster did, they would know that his nickname was "Corny".

I would have missed several :dunce: but I submit these two in particular for reconsideration:

    16. Where is the basement in a three-story building located?

Braves answer: Usually between the first and second floor...unless you have those relatives visit

Correct answer: It depends on who's renting the building ... full credit

Better answer: North of the Mason-Dixon line -- everybody knows there are no basements in the south.

    19. What does NBC (National Broadcasting Corp.) stand for?

Braves answer: National Basketball Cociation

Correct answer: Trick question, spelling isn't part of the test

Better answer: Everybody knows that has always stood for "Nobody Beats Carolina," even if it isn't true in basketball anymore. It's gonna be true in baseball now that we've sent all our Charlotte boys up there.

By the way -- I can't figure out how to get in the chat room anymore. Please hep me out. :help:

    :aorangeha :stupid:
