This thread can be used to list any 2005,2006 or 2007 "PLAYERS TO WATCH"
AND TEAMS in NC/SC, who will make an impact with their team(s)and would be considered a possible college prospects. The TEAMS(hs ball) who have the potential of going deep in the playoffs. Please list the name, hs attending, position(s) and travel ball team(s) they play with as we want to use this media to assist in marketing our young female softball players. We need input from all our TBR Softball poster; even from the ones who just read and rarely post and to any guest who havent joined....... Join and lets hear it. Alot of other media outlets' personnel are TBR members and have greatly assisted us, without most of us even knowing it, in the progress made in softball and the exposure of NC SOFTBALL! Wow just look at the young ladies who have played at the next level and are coming Up NOW!!! Lets contiune to grow.....get out the word on these great female student/athletes and get additional exposure/assistance via the web.
Note: Lblues' "exposure clinic" is another great way(highly recommend) to get the recuriting process rolling and strengthen their chances with some great collegiate softball programs.

LaRonda McClain, 2006, Kings Mtn......speedy, smart and a slapper and listed byCharlotte Observer as one of their '04 preview player last weekend. She will battle Taylor Queen and/or Emily Forbes(both college signees) for SWFH3A POY(player of the year)

    Brittany Walker Gastonia Ashbrook (2007)
    Catcher/SS
Has very good skills and surprising power. Bats lead-off for Ashbrook and plays more like an upper classman than a Freshman.

sidenote:this is a good one and worth the admission to watch this young lady with experience beyond most upperclassman. Smooth fielder, athletic and smart catcher and an aggressive hitter, who i personally enjoy watching!

Sarah Steele is a very consistent slapper and does play the OF very well.

AC has a couple exciting players Mindy Gibson- OF (05), Kayla Johnson- 3rd (06), Whitney Benfield- SS (06), Emily Pierce (16u Thrillers)- P (06)

thanks guys for all these good underclassman players you have provided to date but if at all possible please include their class(05,06,etc) and a brief overview, this would assist in recruiting(college) and other media outlets listing.

Very good job, CFball. This is exactly what this forum is all about. Sometimes, I don't think people realize how many college coaches throughout the state read this forum for information.

Again, I hope the people that visit this site realize the dedication and sacrifice you and Dawgfan put into this forum...for a simple reason....to promote all the softball players and give them an opportunity to further accomplish their dreams and ambitions. You guys should be congratulated :applause:

    CF and Dawg

Agree totally with Braves, you guy dedicate many hours of your time to promote fastpitch and the young ladies that play the game. Thanks from me and the Lady Blues for all U do to help us. :applause:

thanks, but not unlike many others here, who are TBR softball members, who do as much or more than we do in other facets of this great game. We could actually have a thread on this alone but as we all know this is for the young female/student athletes who are inspired to play softball at the highest level possible. We just want to contiune the improvements made over the years in assisting these young people and their parents to obtain their softball goals. :applause: are for all you TBR SOFTBALL Members who contriubute here with reporting on players/teams, to the coaches(all levels) who teach and guide them and to the Parents who support all of the above! THANK YOU

Does anyone know anything about JM ROBINSON? Have heard little to nothing about how they are doing or their players? Suppose to play them next Tues. Was curious how their team is?
