Sorry I missed you, "0"...I was at that game. This was a well played, fast moving game. A pitchers duel between Sam Pierce (NM) and Joey Cutler (P). Until the last play of the game, either team could have won. Providence scored 2 runs on a hit fielded by the 3rd Baseman to win the game.

The 3rd baseman is Danny Hermann for Piedmont. That was his 2nd and 3rd HR's for the week.
Morgan Tyson did pitch a very good game, especially after the 1st. He gave up 4 ER and 6 hits over 7 innings. The OF defense really let him down on more than one occasion. Morgan was also 3-3 with a 2B.
Very poor base running late in the game kept the game from being closer, but Piedmont showed some guts by coming back from being down 5-0 early.
