Why don't you tell us about the baseball in Buffalo. What high school teams do you watch? It is great that you still have all your conections at ACHS and NW4A!

You should stick to baseball where you live. Bashing AC baseball is obviously not your bag because i have seen them play and they are very strong. Scott Hall is a good pitcher and does not deserve that critisism you throw towards him. I hope you realize this and stop this slander towards a good baseball team.

this team is deserving of the #3 ranking and should have been in the top 10 last year...

as long as a pitcher can hit his spots and keep the hitters guessing, he doesn't have to throw 90+...Hall is a battler and with the team playing good defense behind him, he can be tough...

talk about class...sources tell me Payne and Kinnard have elected not to go to state game try-outs in order for others players to get an opportunity to be seen... :applause: :applause: :applause: talk about being unselfish... :applause: :applause: :applause:

there are several on this team deserving, i'd like to see Teague get an opportunity because he was injured last year and didn't get a chance to show what he can do...someone had him on a "stalker" last summer at 88; throws the same type breaking pitch as Payne but from a different arm angle...Teague can be as nasty as Payne...

Watauga will see Payne...can good pitching stop good hitting? Payne no-hit Watauga 2 yrs ago and 1-hit them last year..

Bennett High School is the nearest school and they have either just started or are getting ready too (I have been away on business). Ia m not knocking ACHS and if it came across that way then I apolgize. I just heard where Payne hadn't thrown all week and was curious. I wish them the best and yes Playme I agree about Payne/Kinnard being first class by stepping to the side. Maybe the Orren kid or the Kerley will get a shot to "shine" at State Games.

Just remember that ya'll didn't see one of their top pitchers because conference has started. It looks like AC and Watauga are lighting up the scoreboards this year. Can't wait until Friday night in Boone.

ACHS faces off against Freedom at home tomorrow night and heads up to Boone on Friday to play Watauga. Should be a good game.

    Weather

Mighty nasty outside today. Doubt many if any teams get their games in today. I heard it was supposed to rain tomorrow too but I'm not for certain on that report. Hope the weather gets a little bit better this week.

Freedom will come to Bob Gryder Stadium tomorrow for a make-up game that was cancelled due to today's rain.
