    One of the best softball games I have ever seen, great defense, great pitching, and unreal baserunning by Hillcrest. They put the pressure on when they got some speed on base. "Speed Kills" Hillcrest is for real and so is CC! CC does have a great hitting team and Kate pitched well, best ever? NOt sure I will go that far but she did keep CC off balance all night. I thought both teams took way to many pitches and got in a hole on the count. CC did not bunt alot and use the speed but I am sure had their reasons. The third baseman for Hillcrest made one of the best plays I have ever seen on a shot down third base line. Unreal! Anyway great game, great crowd, and both teams are awesome.

    Meredith pitched well and led the team's hitting as she drove in the first run and I believe went 3 for 4. MP has some pretty good sticks and will cause trouble for Butler and others as the playoffs arise.

    they have a real nice facility on campus and i am assuming they are SGent.
    can anyone confirm this?

    sounds like a good tourney in store for the teams and its fans

    Chase is a Good 2A school in Rutherford County and well coached but unsure of their current record. They have lost to RS Central and East Rutherford but have quality pitching and some good hitters

    MC is one of the best pitchers in the state and its nice to see she is getting some help with their offensive output. Boy, LBlues1, they must have been really working on their hitting skills as of late??

    hows the new coach there?

    New coach knows very little about softball but kids seem to like him. Mere keeps them in every game and they seem to find a way to score a run or so. As a Butler parent and fan, I fear this match-up, it should be a great game. :banana:

    Dates of Butler vs Myery Park

    Butler plays Myers Park on Tues April 6th. at Butler
    It will be a JV Varsity Double header. JV at 4 and Varsity at 6.
    It could be one of the most important games in SWAAAA to date.
    That, and the rubber match on May 6th. at MP. Thats not to discount any other SWAAAA Conf. team they all seem able to play well and could win any game.
