    the East/West battle could very well decide the Western Rep in Raleigh this June!!

    I just looked at that story. Says that Katie Miller (who was a freshman then) went the distance for Manteo.

    Sorry...didn't go as far to the story. Sounds like to me that 16 innings would put both of these young ladies squarely in second for number of innings pitched in a game.....

    Watauga played very good in all the games except for the DB game. Patrick Henry had shut out all their opponents until Watauga cut the lead to 2-1 in the 4th, but PH came back to score 3 in the bottom half.

    First Class Tourney with some outstanding teams if any schools are looking for tourneys during the high school year next year.
