    WHY DID PROVIDENCE PULL OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT?

    what'da ya think about this?

    WCHS won coin toss in the championship game.
    WCHS chose to be home team.
    WCHS had just played as the home team against SCentral and were in home dugout which is 3rd base side at Guy Smith.
    JHRose made WCHS team pack up their gear and move to the visitor's dugout for the championship game.

    Coaches...is it protocol for the host team of a tournament to always have the home dugout even if they are visitors? Would like to get some feedback here.

    So, was the Grimsley/Hot Stove tournament canceled, played out (minus Providence) or what? The Charlotte Observer reported that the tournament was canceled and not completed. :huh:

    On your philosophy and relationship with the other team, coaches, etc... I have done both with my teams! On the other hand it can "p----s" some coaches off as well as teams! Oh well who cares except WHO won, certainly gives somewhat of an 'extra' incentive to best the other team! Personally when I was younger NOT happy at all nowadays pack em up let s PLAY!!!!!!!Tournament went on w/o Providence as well another team from what I understand!? Don t know the results tho they are somewhere here on the site! :applause:

    BB9er wants your deal with all the negative comments. Were are you from? From the comments you seemed to have some problems with the rose program. Let me ask you what would you have done with the schedule when Providence had to unfortunatly withdraw. By the way providence was the only school that had to withdraw all the others got there three games in. SC received a 3rd place Bye I guess and only played 2 games

    CP16 taken everthing entirely out of context guy! Didn t mean to tiack or show offense to Rose or an program I was just asnswering and giving an opinion about the dug out issue in GENERAL!!!! This happens alot if not all the time at alllllll kinds of tourney s where u have multiple participants from out of town as well! Relax guy! Hope you guys win uit all this Year really do! :nono: :xyzthumbs

    It reveals alot when someone retorts by calling the facts of the tournament negative comments.
