Correction: South Meck is 10-0 in Conference with a 2 game lead over 2nd place Providence. Their only loss was to Mt. Pleasant if I remember correctly.

Key Remaining Games - Big East Conf.

With New Bern, Rose; and Conley all at 5-1 conf. record.
    New Bern @ Conley-4-27
    Conley @ Rose -4-29
    New Bern @ Rose-5-6
This could get very interesting in the next two weeks

Is East really 5-5? -- I thought they were 6-4: 2 wins over Garringer, wins over Waddell and Olympic, splits with Providence and Myers Park, and losses to Butler and South. Plus, there has to be a typo in their overall record -- they can't have fewer overall losses than conference losses.

Adding to the SW4A picture, even though I believe Butler is now 4-6 in the conference, they are finished with Providence and South and still have a shot if they can run the table with wins over Garinger, Waddell, East and Myers Park and finish 8-6. East could also finish 8-6 if they beat Olymoic and Waddell and lose to Butler and South. Finally, Myers Park could finish 8-6 if they beat Olympic and lose to Butler, South and Providence. I hope that won't happen, but it certainly could. On the other hand.... MP could overtake Providence for second -- we'll see if that is a possibility tomorrow night at Providence!!!!!

The survivor in the race for third gets a real treat - Alexander Central in the first round of the state playoffs. Are they any good? :D

Now DB...don't go arguing about East Meck's record. They've got something magical going on over there...nothing would surprise me.

ACHS vs. Watauga will be a key game...but not as important as it would have been if Watauga wouldn't have lost to McDowell. Maybe this game has more to do with something else other than conference standings...

P.S. I'm sure both teams will display a lot of class...you shouldn't have to worry about a "repeat".
