    BIG A

Hey BIG A it's good to know that you once coached these guys. Matt and the others are great athletes in several sports.....I know you know payne personaly as i do as well and i saw the "cow pasture ball" with his dad paying off. that's a great example to other players.......Matt you were a great guy off the field when you were at the jr. high and just continue to do the same throughout your LONG career............ ::

    YEA!!!

Ummm....what he means is throwing and hitting in the backyard. Matt obviously gets out in his yard and throws around with his father. And now it is paying dividends, figuratively speaking of course.

    BIG A

SOrry big A. I live out in the country. When I was Growing up the kids in the neighborhood would get together and play ball anywhere they could find a place because there were not many fields or transportation, We played in the cow pasture.........Now I don't know if Matt has played in the pasture but that's what I was Meaning, I've been by his house several times and saw him playing ball with some of his friends...........And about his dad, he was a good player as well and I have saw him and Matt many times in the yard throwing ball and thats how you get better.........HE'S BEEN VERY DEDICATED.........OH and he has had some good coaching as well!!
    Thanks for the line........

    Final score was 13-0
Corbett got the win giving up 3 hits in 4 innings and Payne finished without giving up a hit in the fifth.
Corbett was 4 for 4 with a homer and 5 rbi
Hall 3 for 4 with a homer and a ground rule double-(appeared to clear fence)
    Orren 2 hits
    Kerley homer
    Payne homer
