State Playoffs......

    It's a bit early to do the matchups in the state playoffs. Too many spots are still up for grabs, but one bracket looks pretty mean already.

    Of the 32 teams in 4A, one bracket of 8 teams looks to include the following teams.
    #1. Alexander Central (21-0)
    #2. South Meck (21-1)
    #4. Independence (18-2)
    North Mecklenburg (18-3)

    Throw in probables Watauga, Providence and Myers Park into that bracket and it's probably the toughest group of 8 teams in the state to get out of.

    Where can I get some information about the brackets? Where does N. Forsyth and E Forsyth fit into these brackets?

    Briefly, in the west for 4A, the matchups look like this:

    Meca-8 #1 vs NW4A #2
    SW4A #1 vs NW4A #3
    Meca-8 #2 vs SW4A #2
    NW4A #1 vs SW4A #3

    CPC #1 vs Meca-8 #3
    Metro #1 vs PAC-6 #2
    Metro #2 vs CPC #2
    PAC-6 #1 vs Metro #3

    baseball playoff pairings....

    NCBBALLFAN, I don't mean to be so stupid, but I cliicked onto the NCHSAA link that you provided, and I still couldn't find the brackets. I'm interested in the 3A baseball brackets. Can you help a dummy like me just a tad more??? :huh:
