Hope she is OK and back on the field soon. Here is another incident speaks exactly to the issues discussed in the "Hot Bats, Do We Have a Problem" thread.
Again, I hope this young lady is OK.

I hope she is ok as well. I have seen many hard hits this year back at the pitcher. When I looked to see what bat they were using it was a mix. Sometimes Miken sometimes a TPS or even less. Not sure if a HOT BAT is always the culprit as much as location of pitch.

    update on pitcher

i called scotland high school and they told me she actually attended school. they said no broken bones, her eye is swollen and black.
sure am glad it is not worse. thanks for all the heartfelt thoughts and prayers.

my daughter, Ashley Hogan-#2 is a pitcher although she is not the starting pitcher for RSHS , she has had some close calls.
she is a 10th grade starter for the Lady Raiders varsity softball.
she plays right field for RSHS. she pitches for her rec team. she also plays on the Carolina Lightning 18u travel team as a catcher, pitcher and right fielder.

we have some good girls on RSHS softball team. :applause:
    can't forget the coaches :xyzthumbs

Great news from scotland county indeed and glad another pitcher is OK.

i had two DDs who pitched hs and collegiately and its always a huge concern....quickness training helps at the One spot for sure

thanks for sharing about your DD and her teams............and you are definitely having a great year with hs ball. Enjoy the years and good luck this summer/fall with travel ball........

just what TBR Softball forum is about, thanks again momof06fastpitcher! :xyzthumbs
