Charlotte Christian seems to be on quite a role here late in the season after a somewhat rough start. Will they win their 3rd straight state title next week?

Good question...They are led by some outstanding talent, but some of their younger guys have rose to the occasion. They are now in a position to compete with Wesleyan in a series.

My (unbiased) opinion:D...yes, they will take the title. I always pull for a Charlotte team.

I believe Charlotte Christian has a very good chance to win the state this year to. Michael Najaka has started pitching very well lately and so has the rest of the pitching staff. Their 1-5 hitters have been swinging it very well too (1-Bard, 2-Fronk, 3-Bost, 4-Goodman, 5-Caldwell). All of these players made All-Conference as well. It will be very interesting to see if they can beat Weslyan again this year!

yes, christian is kindof on a role, they've won the past 10 games and are 19-3-1 since coming back from the Florida trip. the series with wesleyan should be interesting and exciting to watch. does anyone know what wesleyans record is like? i can find much info on them. but wesleyan did beat christian ealier in the year 4-2. but that was then.

the NCISAA tourny pairings come out tonight i think so maybe somebody can post those on TBR.

Ron Causy and Travis High from Weslyan were at the Senior state game tryouts today at East Meck, as was Reid Fronk. I believe I saw a little "talking" going on during batting practice between Fronk and High. I think Fronk was pleading for the fastball and High was shaking his head saying changeups away! These are great players and it's fun to get to see them interact as possible teammates.
