Surry gets all the calls :xyzthumbs

Good luck to Surry from here on out. They have a very good ball team.

It would be a lot of fun to see the JUCO champs in both D1 and D2 come from North Carolina. And there's a good chance :laugh1:

Just want to add my congratulations and good luck to the Surry team! Represent NC well as you progress through the next level of games.

For those of you who may not know, Joey Asis, brother of Ashbrook's Sammy Asis plays for Surry. Have fun Joey!!

You call beating someone 10-0 (5 inning, mercy rule) and 14-5, "Getting all the calls". Sounds like Surry didn't need any help with those scores. I guess that everyone has an excuse to lose.

Speaking of Joey, he homered in the championship game. From the reports I've gotten it was a monster shot that put Surry ahead for good.

bbfan123... I guess you didn't see the :xyzthumbs beside my comment.

Surry has a very good ball team and I wish them a ton of luck from here on out. I am already looking forward to them coming to LCC next Spring.

I thought Surry was Division I and Lenoir was Division II. Why does Surry have to travel to play Lenoir? I know they are not in the same conference, because Lenoir dropped down.

I guess you are right and we may not play Surry at home next year... but we are still Region X and we played the same schedule this year that we did in years before.... So my guess would be that next year (in Region X play) we will travel to the teams we hosted this year, and host the teams we visited.

LCC and Surry are the only two NC JUCO's still playing....
Surry beat LCC 4 times... 3 in which were decided by a Surry rally in the last inning of each game.
