    Providence:
Kevin Dietrich, Chris Ahearn, Alex Martin, Greg Little.

    South Meck:
Kyle Shelton (POY), Elliot Arrington, Jonathan Ratledge, TJ Worrell. South has many possible all conference players, these are just the ones who stand out in my head.

    East Meck:
Blake Gehringer, David Teague, Taylor Bryant and Buchanan.

    Myers Park:
Logan Smith, Jack Myers, I haven't heard much from this group of kids this year.

    Olympic:
Matt Clapham, Thomas Hovis, I hear their center fielder can flat out play, dont know his name though.

    Waddell:
Carl Krimminger, David DeSilva, Brad Rhine I think is his name.

    Butler:
Kevin Glass, Brad Boob, Ryan Sansavero.

I'm going by who I think deserves it. I've watched most of them play since they were just young boys. With the year they all had I believe they are all very deserving of it.

That's a good point. Garmon is very well deserving. But it's every year certain kids are left off who are deserving of that all-conference bid.

3Ks, your list looks pretty good overall but the Myers Park picks will be the toughest to make. Like the team, the players have had up and down years, but the team's three best hitters all year have been JJ Rollins, Jim Berger and Wes Flowers. JJ is also one of the best catchers in the area, so it would be a real mistake to leave him off any list. He is the one clear choice for Myers Park. Berger has played well at first base and hit well. Flowers is a great story -- the senior played very little as a junior and started this season on the bench. He performed well coming off the bench early in the season for spot roles, won the shortstop spot, mainly because of his bat, and has been an excellent clean-up hitter since moving into the lineup in about the sixth or seventh game. It would have been easy for the senior to give up, but he didn't and has been quite a success story.

With respect to your two picks, they both have had outstanding moments and streaks -- Logan had a slow start but has come on very strong during the stretch run to lead the team to the number 3 SW4A finish, and Myers, a sophomore, has been outstanding in center field and a very good lead-off man. The other players who have been primarily responsible for the late-season run are the two senior starting pitchers, Jason Kennell and Gant Bowman, both of whom were injured at the beginning of the season and both of whom have had some great outings in the second half, and juniors Jeremy Mathis and Scott Brewer, who have pitched well out of the bullpen. Mathis and Tim Cramer have also provided some key hits, as have some others.

So it has been a real team effort for the Mustangs this year and it is very difficult to single any particular players out as the most deserving. I hope it will all come together for the team in Taylorsville tomorrow night!

Appreciate the help on MP Blues. JJ has been good one since he was a youngin. Didn't get to see much of MP this year, but I'm sure JJ is worthy of all-conference. He's got a great arm and swings a powerful stick. Congrats to him on signing with Appalachian State. :applause:

    Question?

Is there a rule somewhere stating that a coach cannot tell his players that they made All-Conference until after their conference is done in the State Play-Offs? Just curious?
