Chad Flack hit 2 HR's in the first inning as East Rutherford exploded for 14 runs in the 1st on the way to the Conf. championship. At one point in the 2nd inning, ER had hit 5 HR's and made only 4 outs. Jeff McKracken had 2 HR's also, one a grand slam, and Freshman Zeke Blanton hit his first.

    Central Cabarrus/Hopewell

NCBBALLFAN, Central Cabarrus defeated Hopewell yesterday but I'm not absolutely sure of the final score. I believe it was 9-4,,,,, but I know for certain that CC won.

    Green Hope beat Fuquay
Lee County beat Apex (Lee County won the Tri-7 Conf-Tournament)

    State Seeds from Tri-7
    #1 Green Hope
    #2 Lee County
    #3 Fuquay

So does that mean Lee County @ Rose? That could be a very good 1st round game.

    In the PAC-6 Championship game.

Jordan (on the outside looking in) faced top seeded Chapel Hill for the championship. Person was setting on the side-lines with the #2 seed in hand, awaiting the results of the game.

Even though Jordan jumped out to an early lead, Chapel Hill came back on a couple of miscues and won the PAC-6 championship tournament by a 4-3 margin.

Seeds coming out of the PAC-6
    #1: Chapel Hill
    #2: Person
