TPerkins is not on crack, its the natural high on those talented Eastern teams he so passionately admire and some wishful thinking. He is our well-informed northeastern NC tbr sports scout and is a drug-free informant.

he knows how the west as done in recent years :teeth:

    4-A J.H. ROSE
    3-A Manteo or C.B. Aycock
    2-A ????
1-A North Johnston or Ayden Griffin

    Sorry guys,

haven't seen western teams play but these are the top eastern teams I know. did not see manteo play in greenville but I'm sure with Walt Davis running the show they are well coached. looks like cc is the tops in 4-a in western,nc but it's going to take a really strong club to knock j.h. rose out. just my predictions.

Hey everyone, how about we all do this. List the teams that you think will make it to Raleigh. I say this because there are not a lot of us out here that have seen both the eastern teams & western teams & instead of telling everyone they are on crack why don't you just list the teams that you think will make it to Raleigh. Someone could start two different threads, one for the Eastern bracket & one for the Western bracket. :xyzthumbs

Finally CBA and North Johnston get some recognition in the fight for the championship.

Great idea but lets keep it clean AND on one thread.
You know no matter what we say here it will be decided by the PLAYERS on the field.

    State Champ Predictions

    4A- Butler
    3A- KM
    2A- Forbush
    1A- To close to call

For all you big 4A softball teams ask Alexander Central what kind of facilities C'ville has. They have one of the best playing fields around. Their outfield is like carpet. We have top notch uniforms and top of line equipment. We also play a very tough schedule. 4A (for the one that was not to big to give us a game) 3A, 2A, and 1A teams. As far as cc, you people are riding on Crystal Cox reputation. You have not won anything to boast about yet. So don't degrade 1A schools or their programs. I would much rather live where we do compared to where you are. We don't pick our schools we go where we live and make the best of it in a very close knit community. As far as 1A, C'ville has one the most high school baseball championships of all your 4A schools. Our softball is not but one behind you. If you don't win this year and C'ville does then we will be tied. I'd say the pressure is on BIG CC. If I remember Alexander Central got on here boasting about beating C'ville 17-2 early in the year. Well we came back a few weeks later and shut them out 1-0. Not bad for (who cares about) 1A school. Hope to see you in Raleigh.

Well lets see Xpert... We beat the 3 time 4A South Carolina State Champion Hillcrest that has only lost 2 times in 3 years...They were ranked 9th in the Nation... When was the last time Cherryville beat a Top 10 team in the nation.. Plus there pitcher throws 67 MPH... Who has Cherryville beat...

Hmm riding on the reputation of Crystal Cox. We seem to have moved on obviouslly you havent heard of Gina Allen or Haley Scism two of the best pitchers in the state who have combined for 5 no hitters, 4 perfect games, 9 one hitters and 18 shutouts in 27 games. Two conference championships, two conference touraments in the last two years, a district title last year. Beat the 2x 4A state champs Hopewell two of their three losses last year. Beat #9 nationally ranked Hillcrest, SC this year and beat three top teams in Tennessee. I doubt you beaten that many teams outside of the state.
