    Garner is very solid with Hatcher and Primus. These kids can play!! Always a trditional Raleigh area power in baseball it would not at all surprise me if they were to advance past Millbrook and then upset Rose (if the brackets hold true). MIllbrook has a very solid LHP in BJ Dail (I believe that's his name), cause I personally have not seen him pitch, but have heard he can bring it!! That makes the Garner/Millbrook matchup more interesting.

    I would love to see an upset of Person over N. Forsyth, you never know what may happen in the playoffs :nono:

    Great Poem

    Cougardad, thanks for the poem! I thought it was great! Good-luck to the Rams, only other team I would pull for would be the Jets, and since they aren't in it I am behind you all the way! Mountain girl has to pull for the mountain boys!!!

    3A Prediction

    Nice job guys....I'm not a poet, so I'll just throw out a few facts. Hard to replace Thrailkill, however, this team outscored their opponents by more than 10 runs a game (284 to 47). They set a new state record for team batting average at .390, and have four other very capable pitchers that will keep them in the game. It will take a very good team playing a great game to beat these guys. One other note, TCR moved up to #19 in the nation this week in Baseball America's Top 25 poll.

    Dail is a RHP... he's real good.

    and just for fun: North Raleigh's legion team will be loaded this year.... Put Wakefield, Millbrook, and Wake Forest together.

    I am going back to Cary for the night tomorrow night to see the Green Hope-Athens Drive game. Should be a good one. I will try to post a report after the game if I am not busy.... :xyzthumbs
