    Yes. FV is now #2 seed out of the BS3A and will play the #2 seed from the MAC3A. This year the BS3A has "priority seeding" over the MAC so the game will be played at FV. From what I hear, it's scheduled for Friday @ 7:00 PM

    Thanks SouthernGent....Without TBR I think half of us if not greater would be lost as to what is happening. I knew about the priority seeding just didn't know that you could move up in seeding as well. So, if a number 8 seed wins the tournament and the conference has 3 teams going which seed are they? 1?,2?,3? I know that the number 3 seed will be dropped...just not sure how the order would go from there? Confusing ..... :thinking: Whats worse is that we play Franklin tonight and they still think they are going to East Lincoln...Hope somebody tells them as well... :laugh1:

    regular season champs earn the #1 and all other seeds are up for grabs

    No Maiden is not #1 seed. The team that won regular season ( Best record against teams in their Conference) is #1 seed in Playoffs no matter how it finishes in conference tournament. In 3A where Ashbrook was #1 , East Lincoln was 2nd and Forestview was 3rd (won/losses against teams in their conference) FV won conference tournament and jumped to #2 seed and East Lincoln is #3 seed. Ashbrook and FV 1st playoff game is a home game and East Lincoln now has to travel to a #1 seed from another conference. Tougher 1st game. If a #4, #5, etc had won conference tournament they would have jumped to #2 seed, East Lincoln #3 seed and Forestview would have been out of playoffs Their conference only got 3 teams in playoffs. In Maiden's conference (it got 4 teams in playoffs) C'ville, Maiden,North Lincoln and Polk County were top 4 teams in same order. Maiden won Conference Tournament All they got was satisfaction of beating C,ville

    Mount Pleasant will play Western Alamance Friday night at 6:00 pm at Mount Pleasant.


    Mount Pleasant is the Rocky River Conference Champion and a #1 seed, Western Alamance is a #2 seed from the North State Conference.

    Good luck to both teams !

    if a 4-8 seed wins the tourney, you're right the 3rd place regular season finisher is knocked out, then the winner of the tourney becomes the #3.

    at least that's the way i understand it. anyone please correct me if i'm wrong.
