    softball playoffs started yesterday, not later this week
    and by the way, one of our local teams played last night, it musta slipped

    owen lost 2-1 to east rutherford
    looked real hard for a box score this am

    4 local teams playing today
    looked real hard for times and location this am

    honorable mention 4A ac reynolds playing the #9 ranked team in the country
    today
    not newsworthy enough?
    3rd ranked 2A west henderson at chase today,
    oh yeah this years leading candidate for your player of the year plays for
    west in case you didnt realize it

    your attitude amazes me
    now do you understand my complaint?
    but i guess since enka not involved no mention is warranted
    and just to let you know enka plays tomorrow

    I guess even you missed my point...
    It was never to be about Enka or at least them alone. It was about softball in general. And Enka is part of that softball community. I want Enka to get their share of headlines like anybody else but I would like to read about the other teams as well. This is why I try to go to as many games as possible. First of all to support the players but also to find out firsthand what happened. I know better than to expect AC-T to report on it..I didn't even know Owen had played....Never saw it in the paper..

    I have learned a long time ago if you want to find out ANYTHING about high school sports NEVER read the AC-T. You had better get online and do the research yourself. That seems to be all they do, because they never are at the games, unless it's football, and I love football so don't think I am blasting that sport. It just seems they can cover all those high school football games and have write ups, but they can't any other high school sport. :huh: :thinking: I know for a fact they got a lot of the Reynolds stats concerning game times and scheduling from our website (www.biggreencountry.com) they certainly weren't about to call the school and find out. Oh well, Good luck to my Rockets today, play well and know that we are all here pulling for you!

    Pisgah plays Ashe on Thursday at Pisgah. I am pretty sure the game is at 5:00 but I will double check. Since ENKA gets ALL the AC-T coverage, I guess I can forget about seeing any reporters. :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1:

    Enka plays St Stephens on Thursday at Enka.
    I've been told the game starts at 6:30.
    Is that correct Enkajet04?

    Pisgah10, I don't think anyone knew they were playing. I didn't see it posted anywhere. I would have been there if I had known it. Love to see a game that close. CFBall talk to East Rutherford. See if you can get them to post their playoff sckedule.
